To our patients with Delta Dental insurance...

 

We Are Changing Our Delta Dental Provider Status.  We will be ending our in-network participation with Delta Dental effective July 24th, 2023. We will continue to accept your insurance; however, we will do so as an out-of-network provider.

The costs associated with operating a dental office have increased sharply in recent years, including everything from staffing to supplies, and from equipment to utilities. Unfortunately, Delta Dental was unwilling to increase its reimbursement rates during that same period. In fact, the vast majority of their rates are exactly the same as they were 10 years ago.

At Doylestown Family Dentistry, we are committed to providing the excellent, comprehensive dental care you deserve. We’ve developed an exceptionally strong team, and secured the latest dental technology, in order to deliver on this promise. Maintaining this level of excellence is not possible under Delta Dental’s aging rate schedule, so we will become out-of-network providers effective 07/24/2023.

 

What Does This Mean For You?  You’ll receive the same great dental care from us, but there may be some changes in the way you use your insurance. Here are answers to questions that may be top-of-mind for you:

Q: Will I have to find a new dentist?
A: Absolutely not. You’re always welcome at Doylestown Family Dentistry, regardless of your insurance situation.

Q: After July 24th, wilI I still be able to use my Delta Dental benefits here?
A: Yes, Delta Dental will still contribute towards your care at Doylestown Family Dentistry even after we leave their network.

Q: How will this affect my cost of dental care you provide?
A: We work with hundreds of different Delta Dental plans, and they’re not all the same. The amount you pay for services will depend on the specific benefits available through your plan. Margie, our insurance specialist, can help you determine your cost in advance of your visits.

Q: Will I have to submit my own claims?
A: No. Our office will continue to submit your claims, just like before.
